“We exist to Glorify God, to Love Our Neighbors, to Share the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus, and to Make Disciples Who Make Disciples.”
By the beginning of 2020, Castalia Baptist Church will be strategically positioned to impact lostness beginning with the community in which we exist (3-mile radius around our church facilities).
We know that the goal of the Gospel is to produce a type of people consumed with passion for God and love for others. We want to do all we can to encourage your relationship with the Lord and your love for your neighbors.
Castalia Baptist Church is also dedicated to mobilizing Christians to make disciples who make disciples. We are committed to equipping every Christ-follower through regular opportunities for corporate worship, being equipped by spiritual leadership, nurturing our common bond in relationships, sharing the gospel with others, and serving together to meet the spiritual and physical needs of all.
As a congregation of baptized believers and followers of Jesus Christ, we have two primary Bible texts that motivate us and they are as follows: Matthew 22:37-40 and Matthew 28:18-20 are listed for you below, Christian Standard Bible:
He (Jesus) said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. 39 The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”
"Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
